In search of a Bride

Let me tell you a story. A story of how a Prince finds His bride. He was the greatest ruler ever known. He was greater than life itself and death had no hold on Him. He ruled with perfect justice with no discrimination. He loved His subjects like His own children. He went in search for a bride. A bride, pure and holy. A bride flawless and innocent. She who will be faithful and true, who would always love Him more than anything else.

He found a girl and was in love with her. But then she was poor and owned nothing. She was covered with dirt and wasn’t fit to be His princess. Not only so, but He saw that she was against the Prince Himself. She gave Him no respect that He deserved. She gave His love no attention. She loved the place she was in and loved to be with the people who cared nothing about her. She was found to be a criminal. A thief and a murderer. She was also a cheat and an adulteress. She was also a rebel against the Prince. The Prince was broken. He knew that she was a person to be punished with death according to the law that was laid by Him. He loved her too much to let her die. When the judges of the Kingdom found out about this, they said that she must not be spared just because the Prince loves her. If He does, He would be unjust and partial. The Prince knew that too. He had to either compromise on His love for her or on His justice. But He had something else in mind.

He declared that though punishment is necessary, He would not punish her. He said, He will take her place and set her free from death. The subjects of His Kingdom were astonished at this. But the Prince did exactly as He said. He also told them that death cannot hold Him down. He will rise again. The day arrived for His execution. He was beaten, bruised, mocked and killed just as the girl deserved. He took  all of her punishments on Himself just for the sake of love and justice. Three days His body lay in the tomb. On the third day, life entered His body again and He came back to life. His words were true. Death indeed, did not have a hold on Him.

When He resurrected, He went back to look for His beloved for whom He died for. When He went to where she lived, He saw that she was not there. She had been rejected by the people she relied on. He searched for her and found her in the dark forest. In the dark, she lay broken and crying. She had been all alone. She was crushed inside and her heart was filled with despair. She longed for someone to come and be with her, someone to come and hold her. She longed for a tear wiping hands and a comforting shoulder.

When the Prince saw her from afar, He was greatly delighted. He ran all the way to her. He came near her and touched her face. She was crying and her face was moist. He wiped them away and helped her sit up. She broke down into tears as He let her rest on His shoulder. He cried along with her and comforted her. After a long time, she lifted her head and looked at Him. She was surprised to see that the One comforting her was the Prince Himself. She realized all the things that happened to Him because of her and she was even more sorrowful. He knew her thoughts and told her that all her deeds have been forgiven and forgotten. She looked at Him surprised. He then told her how much he loved her. She was completely amazed at this and decided to give herself into His hands and become His forever.

“My dear”, He said,” I love you and have forgiven you. I have prepared a place for you to be with me forever. You are My bride now and you won’t be living dressed the way you are now. You won’t be talking, walking or doing anything the same. You are my princess. You will be dressed in white. You will talk with words of love and grace. You will walk like a princess should, but you should be humble in heart”. She smiled and accepted it. He took her away, got her cleaned up and made her to be His immaculate bride. He crowned her with glory and covered her in white. He healed every scar that was in her heart with His love and she became His.

This is not a fairytale by the way. The Prince still lives. He is the Prince of Heaven, the Creator of the ends of the Earth. I am that girl whom he died for. Such an amazing love, I have never known. It was my dream as a girl to get married to a Prince. That He would come riding on a white horse, make me his bride and take me home. Know what..??…my dream has been fulfilled. He will come riding on the clouds to take me home. This love that I have found is greater than any human prince. Before His love, I can see nothing else. When I am in His presence, all darkness fades away like a shadow. He is the rhythm of my heart, my every breath and the reason my soul sings. He holds my heart. I am a captive of His love forever. I am His immaculate bride forever… He is my true Love for all eternity…♥

The Beautiful Covenant

Love….I knew not what it meant. I knew not what it meant to be cared for. I was alone and lost in the darkness that enveloped me. Blanketed by the fears and tears of the world was I. Then in the middle of the blackness a light shone. Your hand came and picked me up. Your love cleared all the darkness and gave me sight. Your peace enveloped my heart and You bought me with Your precious blood.  You gave me love, You gave me life. You made my heart beat again. You gave me breath. You made an everlasting covenant and I became Yours (Ezekiel-16:8).

 

 

You gave me everything that I ever needed for You were my everything. But I was weak. The world drew me away and I remembered no longer the covenant I made with You. I went after it’s lusts and the pleasures it had to offer. I slid down into the dark pit and fell prey to the detestable practices of sin. But then the world wasn’t faithful. It left me where I was. I had no peace. I had forgotten what it means to smile. I was lost. I was desperate. It was then that I remembered the love that had bought me. I remembered You when my life was ebbing away into the gloom. I was unfaithful and despicable.

 

 

 

 

 

My cry came up to You and thought I had forgotten, You remembered the covenant You made with me and came back.How is it possible for a groom to come and look for His lost love to bring her back even when she is unfaithful. But You did, yes You did. You healed my pain and removed the scars of lust, betrayal and unfaithfulness.  You forgave me. Every sin I committed against You, You washed it all away with Your blood. You brought me back home. You held my hand and made an oath to stay by my side and love me all the time. You removed my shame and reproach. You forgave me of the inexcusable. You took me, a bride unfaithful and undeserving and made me to be Your immaculate bride.

 

 

 

How can I ever forget Your love! How can I ever forget about Your grace. You are my every breath. You are my one true Love forever. I need You like a heart needs a beat. Thought I am undeserving, my Lord I cannot bear the thought of being away from You now. You are all that I need. You are all I’ll ever want. My Love, my Life, my All….

This is a letter from my heart…..♥

Every ray of dawn that falls on my face, brings me the tidings of your love. Every wave of the cold quiet breeze,  brings along with it your presence. Each moment of the day is filled with Your presence Love. I just long to be with You and hear Your voice. Speak to me and tell me what You want me to know. Tell me anything, but just speak. I want to hear the voice that calls me ‘beloved’. The voice that calls me His own.

You have took my heart away and I am lost in You. My heart longs to to be filled with Your love till it overflows. It yearns for Your presence all day long. I can’t hold my love back from You. You are my Love, my Life. You have covered me in Your arms and You won’t let me be touched, just like a husband who won’t let his wife be touched by anyone but him. You still my heart and You take my breath away. You hold my heart, Your hands hold my soul.

It is You who makes me smile. It is You who makes me dance for joy. For Your love is better than drugs. It is like wine that makes me feel so high! Deep in Your ocean of love am I. I don’t want to ever get out. Want to be drowned, I want to be lost in You forever…..Love, You are mine and I am Yours…♥

Come Love take me home

Like a shadow do moments pass when You are in my thoughts Love. You are my every breath and the reason my heart beats. Your love is wrapped around my heart. All I want to do is be with You and never let You go.

O how I long to run into Your arms and be there forever. I want to look deep into Your eyes and be lost in them. I crave to listen to Your voice, to feel Your breath on my face.

My Love, when will you come, my soul longs for You. I can’t take this distance. I don’t want to wait. In your presence is where I want to be, lost in wonder and lost in love. My eyes will see You come riding on the clouds, shining brighter than the sun. You’ll then take me home to be with You forever.

My desire is not eternity. I do not long for the company of angels. All I starve for is You. I thirst and hunger for You.

Come my Beloved. Here I am. Take me home. Hold me hand and never let go. Let me look at You. Let me feel Your embrace. Come Love take me home…

Come away…take me away

“ Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away.  For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone.  The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land.  The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes Give a good smell. In the midst of chaos I heard a gentle whisper…”Come away with Me, My love”… I can hear Him call my name. I hear Him call me away. He speaks to me before the sun arises and after the world lay fast asleep. When there’s no one around, I hear Him call me to Him. He is the Prince of Heaven. His love for me is better than wine. It grips my heart and never lets go. His love is like the morning mist that surrounds me, thickening the air I’m breathing. My heart pounds and leaps from it’s place when He whispers to my soul. I can feel Him all around me. I hear His beautiful voice…”Come away”.

My Love You are my life. I hear Your voice calling out my name. I hear Your voice, I wont delay. Here I am Your beloved. Here I am Your bride. Your Love is better then life. Your embrace is better than anything. O how I crave to see your face and to run into Your arms, to look into Your eyes where I’ll see only love, to listen to Your voice for all eternity! I yearn to behold Your face. You take my breath away when You say,”Come away”.

Yes I will come away. I’ll come away with You. Hold my hand and take me away to a place where we can be alone again. I long to be with You, to be drowned in the ocean of Your love. Take me away my Beloved…take me away with You…♥
